W Bali Seminyak Hotel

We'd just stayed at Potato Head and were a bit sad to leave, unsure anything could beat it. W Bali surprised us in the best way. From arrival, the staff, food, facilities, and atmosphere all felt next level. It's a fun, luxurious hotel with beautiful spaces and great energy. You can unwind in the day and enjoy the buzz in the evening, with amazing service throughout. A special thank you to Denta, who looked after us so well. My wife got Bali belly during the stay, and Denta arranged a doctor straight away and kept checking that she was okay. Her kindness, professionalism, and care made a stressful situation much easier. We're very grateful. Top service! We had a fantastic visit. It's not cheap, but if you can afford it, the quality and care make it worth it. We'll definitely return next time we're in Bali. Highly recommended!

I've stayed at W Bali more than ten times from 2019 to 2026, and it's sad to say the place that used to be my top vacation choice no longer feels worthy of that. My visits in November 2025 and January 2026 were still excellent, which made the decline on this trip stand out even more. Even though I arrived over an hour after official check-in, my room wasn't ready. I also found many of the little touches that used to distinguish W Bali missing. As a Marriott elite member, I received very little recognition or guidance about the amenities. Nobody proactively gave me breakfast information, and the help with day bed bookings lacked the attention to detail I remember. The room itself felt tired and neglected, with visible cracks around the villa, damaged finishes, poorly maintained surfaces, and scribbled markings inside the guest materials. That was surprising for a property presented as one of Bali's leading lifestyle resorts. I met with the new GM, Michael, to raise several service concerns. The conversation felt full of excuses, without genuine accountability or urgency to improve things. The worst part was using valuable vacation time to explain service gaps and operational problems instead of enjoying my holiday. I traveled all the way from the US to Bali expecting the warm, polished, detail-oriented hospitality that brought me back over the years. The property still looks beautiful from the outside, but the service, upkeep, and overall experience no longer feel special. Sadly, W Bali may no longer be my first choice in Bali.

FIRE feels like a second home. The food is confident and deeply satisfying, from grilled seafood and rich sauces to bold Asian flavours, all presented with care. The warmth of the team and the thought put into each meal make it special. At Starfish Bloo, the open view, sea breeze, and gentle waves make for calm, unhurried meals. The seafood is beautifully prepared, and the off-menu dishes and thoughtful hospitality make each visit memorable. It's the kind of place that remembers you. A special shoutout to Chef Budi and Bartender Depin at Starfish Bloo, plus star performer Restaurant Manager Pak Eddy and the wonderful FIRE team. Thanks as well to Hotel Manager Michael and Steven, the F&B Director, for leading such warm, consistently excellent hospitality across the hotel. It's rare to find food, people, and atmosphere all so carefully considered. W Bali is that place.

We travel often and stay in plenty of hotels. Once you're at a five-star place, the amenities are usually similar, so staff and service are what set one apart. At the W Hotel in Seminyak, both are fantastic. That reflects well on management, who clearly take care of their team. April was our guest communicator and made us feel welcome and special. She and her intern Lydya went above and beyond with their service and genuine friendliness. My wife and I have birthdays only a few days apart, and we were at the W for mine. These two gave us beautifully written cards, gifts, and so much kindness. Even an ice bucket full of beer delivered to the room at the end of a hot day was a lovely, unexpected touch. Our pool mate Oka also deserves a mention, along with Nova, Dewa, and Made at the deck bar. The valets, motorbike parking attendants, gate guys, bar staff, and gardeners were all smiling, happy, and friendly. Sorry to go on, but the staff and service really are excellent! As loyal repeat guests, we were honored with an upgrade to a beautiful, quiet, well-serviced room. Pestika and Agus did a fantastic job and nothing was too much trouble. The W's mantra is Whatever, Whenever, and they really follow through. We will definitely stay again and have no hesitation recommending the hotel and staff!
