Angkul Angkul Beach In Kuta

The pool was really nice, and the place itself has a cute look. It was a handy stop for us before leaving Bali, with the airport about 15 minutes away. Kuta Beach, Beachwalk shopping mall, restaurants, convenience stores, and spas are all nearby. The room was clean enough and did the job, though the doors looked worn, the AC wasn’t working well, and the shower was faulty. Fine as a budget inn, as long as you don’t expect too much.

I’d stayed here a few years earlier. When my booking was nearly over, I extended it through the app and went to reception to confirm. The staff member got upset and said it was odd because the room was supposed to be unavailable. I didn’t worry about that since the app had let me book it. I later reported the issue to the app, and about half an hour after that, a staff member brought the booking confirmation to my room.

We were surprised by how much we liked this affordable place. I’d been in Bali three weeks earlier, then spotted Supercheap Flights and booked a few extra days. Staff were friendly, the room was a bit cramped, and the bed felt slightly hard to me, but I had no real complaints. The pool is excellent, and at dusk, sitting on the porch with the setting around you can make it feel like an expensive private residence. Room cleaning is available if you ask, and they take care of it quickly. Ankul Ankul Beach Inn is around 150 mtr from Kuta Square, with restaurants, massage places, the beach, honest money changers, and bars serving different cuisines nearby. In my opinion, it may not suit a young family. Great value for the money! 😁

Really good value for money, with a relaxing feel and friendly staff. Breakfast was good too. My room was clean, though there were ants in the bathroom. That bathroom was tiny, so you could shower while sitting on the toilet, and the shower head was rusty and needed replacing.
