Baby Melon Villas

The quiet setting made it easy to unwind, and there were shops, cafes and local attractions close by. My room was clean, comfortable and nicely designed, with little details that made it feel homey. Everything went smoothly from arrival onward. The driver was already waiting, and the staff were kind and ready to help whenever I needed something. The whole place had a calm, welcoming feel, and I loved staying at Baby Melon Villas. I’d happily return and recommend it for a relaxing break.

Baby Melon Villas was a lovely place to stay. My room felt peaceful and looked beautiful, and the staff were so kind and helpful. It’s close to the beach, restaurants and shops, but away from the busy main drag. The driver met me and took me to my flight, and everything ran smoothly. I’ll be back.

The Goddess room was spacious, beautifully decorated and spotless. The air conditioning and shower were great, and the bed was really comfortable. The photos are accurate, though I thought the place looked even prettier in person. It feels like a small hotel, with shared living rooms, a pool, garden, kitchen and dining areas, but it has the comforts of home. I hadn’t understood the layout beforehand: there are four or five other bedrooms, each reached by outside walkways or corridors. The caretakers we met were friendly, calm and kept to themselves, so we still felt we had privacy. The other guests were couples, and it stayed quiet and peaceful. There were four dogs around, also quiet and friendly when approached, mostly just lounging nearby. I think they went home with their owners at night. I asked the staff about cats, but there weren’t any. We kept our door closed. The dogs stayed with their owners, and we had no trouble with them, but if you really don’t like dogs, don’t book here. There are plenty of high end hotels, restaurants and massage places nearby, and the beach is only a few minutes’ walk away. I travel for work and would be hard pressed to find a better stay. Brilliant work by the owners, manager and staff.

The villas are tucked away from the street, so nights were quiet, even though the beach and beachfront restaurants are only a three minute walk away. Our group of eight came together for my husband’s surprise birthday, with friends and family flying in from the UK and NSW. We booked all four villas, which worked perfectly: everyone had a beautiful place of their own, and we could meet around the shared outdoor table and pool. Each villa has its own look, all with a peaceful, curated Balinese feel. The beds were large and comfortable, the rooms clean, and the water pressure was good. The staff were great, discreet but available when needed, and arranged rides to and from the airport. We loved our time here and would highly recommend staying.
