Bakung Sunset Hotel

For around IDR 100k a night, I could sleep there, but the facilities were very basic. C7 was tucked at the back in a dark corner, which felt pretty creepy as a girl. The door was in poor shape, the toilet was dirty, hot water came and went, and the sheets didn’t seem freshly laundered. There were loads of mosquitoes when I checked in, so I asked staff to spray the room. The AC and TV worked fine, at least. It might do if you can’t find another place in the area, but I wouldn’t expect much.

The local Warungs right outside made it easy to find food, and Kuta, Legian, and Seminyak are all nearby. For under $10 a night, you get a private room and bathroom, AC, hot shower, WiFi, TV, and mineral water. The room felt a bit damp, though it was still nice. They’ll bring water or clean the room if you ask. A good option if you’re traveling on a budget.

I wasn’t sure about the place from the outside, but it was fine once I got in. My room cost 150k and came with a TV, AC, and warm water. The staff were great. A good pick for backpackers.

It’s about a 10-minute ride from the airport, and Galeria Mall Bali, Krisna, and Kuta Beach are nearby. At 120,000 rupiah, this is one of the cheapest hotels around Ngurah Rai International Airport. Two people can share a room, and they provide toiletries, a towel, AC, warm water, and a snack.
