Bonsai Villas Seminyak

The access road is the one drawback: it's very narrow, which can be awkward by car. Inside, though, the room was super comfortable, and I loved the living room and bathroom. The atmosphere was just right, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They provide nearly everything, including a stove and cooking utensils, so it's a great fit if you like cooking. Bintang supermarket, which I'd say is the biggest grocery shop, is only a five-minute walk away. The main street is nearby too, with lots of cafes and restaurants around. One of the best villas in Bali.

The staff were fantastic, and they even told me the story of the place. Mus, thank you for taking such good care of me and for the excellent service 👏 Apparently renovations are coming soon, and I'd definitely stay at bonsai in Bali again. It's peaceful and puts you in a good mood, with little Japanese gardens everywhere and decor that feels like a nicer version of your own place. Some things are old and not maintained 😉 but the aircon, lights, and shower all worked well. If you're there longer, you might have complaints about the linens. I think they outsource them.

Many good restaurants, shops, and nightlife are only a five-minute walk away, and the location is right behind Bintang supermarket. The staff were really helpful, and the price is cheap for this area, especially for a longer stay, which I'd highly recommend. Bonsai villas is an amazing, nice place.

The pool and gardens are lovely, and the staff are amazing. But the villas need renovation and a proper deep clean. We've stayed at Bonsai a few times over the past five years, and this visit was disappointing. We'll come back, but only once it's been updated.
