Classic Lofts @ Seminyak Square, Bali, Indonesia

This worked well as a budget stay. The room was clean and practical, and the Wi-Fi worked fine. I had a balcony, though the view wasn't much. The staff were very nice, and there are lots of restaurants within walking distance in the middle of Seminyak. I expected to stay only a few days, but got sick and had to extend my visit. The room service smoothies helped me get by. I was also there during the big storm, and this area didn't flood. I wouldn't use the laundry service again. It left bleach stains on my clothes.

Our daughter got especially fond of Sudi at reception, who was just wonderful. The staff were lovely throughout, and we had an amazing time at Seminyak Square Hotel. Our room was spacious and well equipped, with the pool very close by. Outside noise was just the usual day to day kind. Breakfast at Endo was included. The buffet wasn't huge, but the à la carte menu made up for it, and the food was tasty. The restaurant also had some delicious dinner options. There are markets in the carpark and several shops beneath the hotel. We'd definitely stay again.

I used the laundry service, and one pair of my women's period underwear never came back. I tried talking to staff three times, but got excuses and photos they had taken before washing, which showed the underwear in their possession. Their paperwork also showed the same garment count I had, but the items returned didn't match that tally. They didn't charge me for the laundry, which cost $30 AUD, but made no further effort to resolve the problem. I'm very glad we left our do not disturb signs up and didn't let staff into our rooms during the stay.

It's 11:30 pm, and for the last three hours all I've heard is a deafening bass thump, music, and someone screaming into a microphone. The room is clean and spacious, and the location is central, but if you want to relax or sleep, stay somewhere else. I'll be looking to move hotels in the morning.
