We left after six nights and found a much better hotel, where we could finally enjoy our family holiday. With six children and a two-week booking, finding another place wasn’t easy. We had booked two family rooms but were given one family room and one standard room, without enough bedding for our group. At check-in, the manager first said there was no booking; after two hours of back and forth, she suddenly found the payment and confirmation. Room cleaning didn’t happen, rubbish sat for days, and getting toilet paper or a clean towel took days, if we could find her. The free daily bottled water and WiFi included in our booking weren’t provided either. When we raised any of this, including what we’d paid for, she told us to leave if we didn’t like it. I’d never recommend staying here, given the false advertising and no-cancellation policy.

The grounds have lovely architecture, and most rooms and the pool sit away from the noisy, smoggy street. It’s a bit old, but still nice. WiFi is only available up front. There’s air conditioning, a pool, and a restaurant with decent food and prices.

It’s more like an art gallery than a hotel, and you can get a room for $2. There’s a pool, and it’s right among the lively parts of Kuta, near sky garden. Service is close to nonexistent, but at that price it’s okay.

A little forgotten paradise on Jalan Legian, with an amazing pool and rooms that are great for such a cheap price. Really good value.
