For one night, it was fine and did the job as a private room for the price. The wifi and aircon were decent, the fridge kept water cold, the double bed was nice, and the staff were pleasant. Under the sheets, though, the bed was filthy, ants were in the bathroom, and the bum gun water and toilet smelled when used. That didn't bother me much since I don't carry food, but I used bottled water to brush my teeth and didn't try the shower. I wouldn't stay much longer.
This is a desperate stopover at best. You pay per person, and the room has no proper windows, so you can hear everything people are doing. The aircon switches off every 30 minutes. There was only a bottom sheet and one towel, no soap, shampoo or conditioner, no washer or sponge, no plug for the sink, and barely any toilet paper. And no fecking hot water. One night only if you're desperate.
Ask for Komang and say Wayne sent you ;) The staff are really friendly, and the location is central for clubs, food and the like. Good budget accommodation with air con.
It was really good and inexpensive. They should add a hot water system, though.
I've stayed at Taman Ayu hostel three times. It's been nice each time 👍
