The location was awkward to reach by car because of the narrow streets, and carrying a suitcase up those unusually steep stairs could be rough. As a solo woman traveling with a bag over 15kg, I wouldn’t recommend it. The place was very dirty and the bathroom was in awful shape. I got no reply at all from the host, which felt incredibly disrespectful; she wouldn’t even let me cancel the second night. Airbnb understood what happened and refunded me quickly, since I’m a frequent, reliable user. This was easily my worst stay in Bali, even though I usually book places in a similar price range.

I only stayed one of the two nights I’d booked. The room had a moldy smell, the door kept banging in the wind because its lock was broken, and barely any water came from the tap. There was nobody on site to help or handle check-in and check-out, which left us confused. It wasn’t worth the price.

The facilities were good and the place itself was okay, but being shouted at felt really offensive and rude. We’d just returned at night and were only talking, not making noise. He knew the rules about keeping quiet, but there was no reason to yell at us. God, so rude.

The owner and his family are nice, and the place is calm and super chill. Getting there is hard, though. It’s not the best or the worst, and a bit overpriced, like Bali in general.

The rooms on the first and second floors were better than the ground-floor ones, but the stay felt a bit expensive for its quality. It was raining while I circled the narrow streets trying to find the place, and it took a lot of effort. The manager, a young man, didn’t answer my call either.
