Kubu Kauh Beach Inn Legian

We stayed a couple of weeks ago. The place is gorgeous, with lovely surroundings and fantastic pools. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we'll definitely stay again.

The peaceful grounds were a real highlight, with two deep pools, greenery, ponds, and plenty of plants and wildlife. And Mocha and Husky, the sweet Pomeranians, were impossible not to love. My room was roomy and comfortable, with a traditional Balinese ceiling and a king bed with a great mattress. The pantry being inside the bathroom was an unusual touch. Staff were welcoming, check-in was quick, and daily room service was excellent. I also felt safe behind the set-back entrance, with guards keeping watch at night. The villa was beautiful and surprisingly affordable.

We spent four nights in a roomy ground-floor villa, which was cleaned every day. The staff were so friendly and ready to help, and we especially liked chatting with Mr. Ketut and Mr. Putu. Breakfast came with three choices, and the little house dog kept us company each morning. There’s a lot of space outside, with two pools guests can use, fountains, trees, and even chickens. It’s a calm little spot in the middle of the city, about 16 minutes from the beach. Thanks to the hosts for such a nice end to our Bali trip. We hope to return!

Really good value, worth every penny. The rooms are cleaned every day and housekeeping is up to a high standard. The AC works great, and it’s a quiet place with two nice pools. You’ll probably fall for the two main hosts too, the adorable Pomeranian dogs Huski and Mocha 😂 Check the photos.
