The staff were really friendly, and there’s a nice pool area. The restaurant serves delicious food, too. It’s a handy place to land when you’ve just arrived in Bali, since the airport is close.

We stayed in Nov 24, and the walk to the main places we wanted to see was short and enjoyable. The restaurant on site does very good food at a fair price, so it’s worth trying. The team were lovely, and the facilities had everything we needed. Great for a couple or a family. We had a fantastic stay and recommend it without hesitation.

The room cost 420k Rp in low season, plus a 100k cash deposit. There was hardly any shelf or bench space in the small room. The light switches were confusing, and I couldn’t get the last ceiling lights at the side to turn off, so I pulled the card out of the powersocket to sleep. The bathroom exhaust fan was extremely noisy. The aircon took a while to start, never got very cold, and had a poor remote. A few times the door handle showed a green light but still wouldn’t open. Breakfast was an average Indonesian buffet. The older chef stood watching over every tray like a hawk, which made me uncomfortable. At checkout I had to wait 10 minutes while they checked the room before returning my deposit.

The breakfast was a highlight, especially if you’re after traditional dishes like bubur, Soto lambugan, and the rest. You’re also close to the popular tourist spots without being surrounded by all the annoying tourists. It’s a really good place to stay, and I’d consider it for another holiday :)
