Premium Villas Seminyak I

The location is excellent, under a five-minute walk from the main street, with restaurants and shops on both sides. The property itself has three huge ensuite bedrooms, very large bathrooms, and a private pool. Maintenance and cleanliness were a letdown. The pool daybed needs replacing, as there’s mold under the cushions, and parts of the wooden bar counter are missing or broken. The old sliding doors in the rooms don’t close properly and look poorly maintained. Two of the three toilet bowls were loose at the floor. The white towels looked grey and smelled musty. There were lots of mosquitoes at night, though every room had a mosquito net. I hope management addresses these problems.

The reviews here don’t seem real to me. The management was rude and unwelcoming, and I couldn’t believe how they treated guests and neighbours. The female manager was especially hostile. She blocked my motorbike and five others, saying the space was hers even though a spot about 5 feet behind her was available and clearly for motorbikes. Her space was in the middle of the road. When I asked what she would do if I did the same, she said, “push it over”. The reviews I consider genuine mention mosquitoes, leaking roofs, smelly bathrooms, and villas that are incredibly overpriced. Be warned, I felt the management treated us badly.

It has a nice, homely feel, but the pool wasn’t maintained. A broken tile caused an injury, and one bedroom also had a leaking roof at night.

The location worked well, near Seminyak beach, good restaurants, and other places. I stayed for eight nights, and the staff were very nice and helpful.
