The rooms are very basic, but they do the job and are good value for the price. The location isn’t the best, though getting around with Grab is easy. Service was great, and the staff are very nice. I’d probably stay there again.

The photos tell you a lot. When I saw the room, I asked for a refund, but was told this was what to expect from the standard room. Since I’d already checked in, I ended up paying for one of the two nights. Maybe the superior rooms are better, but honestly, it wasn’t worth the money. I wouldn’t sleep in a moldy room even at 25AUD a night.

I booked two rooms, but all my friends chose to stay at another resort, best western hotel, because the rooms at pondok anyar were terrible. There was mold everywhere, and the air conditioning took a long time to cool the room. The blanket and all the linen were dirty, like they’d never been cleaned. We weren’t given enough towels or bottled water, and some of the pictures here aren’t clear. Please look for a better hotel or resort.

It’s a decent budget option and close to the airport, with friendly staff who can help. There are no elevators or escalators, so if stairs are an issue, call ahead and ask if a ground-floor room is available. Cleanliness and some facilities could be improved. The toilet in my room was a bit shaky.
