The Bandha Hotel & Suites

We got a complimentary upgrade to the top room, and it was beautiful. The pool and dining space were clean, comfortable, and pleasant too. The hotel is right in front of the beach, with beach clubs, cafes, and shops nearby. What stood out most was how kind and thoughtful everyone was, from the waiters and security staff to reception.

The room was gorgeous, comfortable, and cleaned daily, and breakfast was good. The pool bar staff were amazing, and the spa itself looked lovely. I had a brilliant massage, but the dry pedicure left my toes cut up and possibly infected, and very painful. The staff member seemed annoyed when I flinched and kept going until I asked a few times to stop. I skipped the polish and just wanted it over with. Our shower and bath water was lukewarm at best, so we couldn't use the hot tub. Maintenance came when asked, but told us that was as warm as it gets. We also paid for two cocktails a day with the room and got vouchers, but nobody explained they couldn't be used everywhere. When we settled the bill, staff were dishonest and said “we were told” we couldn't redeem them. It's a great place in a nice location, but for what we paid, we expected more. This is an honest review, not meant as a negative one. We'll stay somewhere else next time.

We booked the cheapest room and were surprised by how huge it was, with the biggest bed I've ever seen, a big couch, and a balcony facing the water. The staff are what make the place, so warm, friendly, and keen to help. We used the gym and pools and had a massage. They clean the room daily and leave complimentary mineral water each day. We'll definitely come back.

The rooms have all the basic things and then some, and the beach and pretty much everything else are close by. The staff, service, and atmosphere were lovely too. I met Pagne, Budi, Eka, Willy, and Diamond at the front desk. Definitely recommend it, you'll thank me later 😃 😊
