Pondok Sutya

I stayed here for my last night, wanting to be close to the airport, and couldn't have asked for a better hotel. The rooms are small and compact, but had everything I needed for one night. There's lots to do nearby, and I'd recommend the Papaya supermarket. The staff were truly kind and friendly. They even took me to the hospital when I wanted to go. When it was time for my flight, they arranged an airport taxi, which was nice and relaxing. The price was good too, and the quality matched it. Nothing but love and recommendation from me!

The staff were nice, and the place was generally quiet unless other guests made noise. It's close to houseware stores, restaurants, warung, and street vendors. The room itself felt quite old, and we found a few hairs on the table under the TV. The room fridge was dirty too, as if nobody checked or cleaned it. The communal kitchen was a bit disgusting, like it hadn't been cleaned in years, which was a shame because cooking for ourselves would've been nice. Breakfast was basic and so-so. You couldn't choose what you wanted, just bread and eggs, though that's better than nothing. The first morning, guests from other rooms were drunk and loud at 4 am. The parking outside seemed quite safe, but there was very limited space because of building materials. There was also a religious ceremony while we were there, and the people attending were loud and quite annoying.

The owner and everyone else were friendly, and the rooms were clean. The bathroom was small but manageable, and you can rent a scooter for a very reasonable price. This was the cheapest place I stayed, but the best, after other more expensive places that were only okay. It was definitely worth the money. The laundry was the one downside: three of my white shirts came back badly stained. They said it was from the sunscreen, but I'm not really sure.

Easy to get to, with super comfortable beds and a clean bathroom. Our hosts were extremely polite and friendly.
