The Kebon Lombok

The staff were the highlight of our three nights, especially Julian, aka King Julian, and Antok, aka Mr Chicken. Antok made us tasty breakfasts and a nice dinner, and was great to chat with. The dining area is rustic but works fine, and having two pools was a nice way to cool down. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a huge bed and an enormous bathroom and shower. The property is expanding, so it looked like a construction site when we arrived, but it didn't bother us and daytime noise was minimal. The main street is about an 8-10 minute walk. There are laundry services, two shops for water and snacks, and a good massage place within 50 metres of the driveway, and getting in and out is easy. Would we come back? Absolutely, for the place and the people. Cheers to King Julian, Mr Chicken and the rest of the guys. See you again soon.

Breakfast came with our stay each morning and set us up well for exploring and surfing at Selong beach. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the pool is big enough to swim lengths. The staff are wonderful, always smiling and keeping your spirits up. They can also sort a scooter or other transport wherever you want to go. We had an amazing time at The Kebon Lombok and would recommend it to anyone staying in Lombok. We'll book here again when we're back.

The staff made our time in Kuta amazing. Every person there was warm and went out of their way to help, and Antok was especially lovely to talk to. His cooking was incredible and cost less than most restaurants in town. The hotel also rents very good quality scooters at a reasonable price, with plenty available. We'd never ridden before coming to The Kebon, but they were happy to teach us safely within the grounds. The rooms and facilities were lovely too. Other reviews mention that the bathroom is missing important mosquito mesh; we usually attract bites, but didn't get bitten during our stay. Thanks so much to the whole team. We can't wait to return.

We planned on a week and ended up staying 14 days. The staff were always smiling and ready to help us out. It's about a 10-minute walk to the main street or a three-minute scooter ride into town. The rooms are clean and have what you need, and the WiFi worked really well while I was working there. My partner and I had an amazing stay and will definitely come back.
