Villa For Big Family Stay 10 Bedroom in Bali Seminyak

We booked a three day, two night stay for our family of 30. The surroundings looked like the photos when we arrived, but the problems started after I checked into rooms 702/703. The bathroom was dim, the showerhead was faulty, and water seeped through the wooden planks onto the floor. There were lots of mosquitoes in the room, and my children and I were bitten by bedbugs. My son had bites on his face, and I had them on my thighs. Breakfast was uncovered with flies all over it. There were other complaints from my extended family too, including poor air conditioning, lizard poop, and dirty cupboards. The place was very poorly maintained and lacked basic accommodation necessities. It was a very disappointing experience for all of us.

With a group of 32, everyone came away with a bad impression. The rooms and facilities were consistently poorly maintained, from the dining area to the bedrooms. None of the kids wanted to use the bathtub or pool, though they’d used a bathtub and swum every day at another villa. Air conditioning was a problem in every room: some stayed warm, one unit was unusually noisy, and another shut off midway. Some doors wouldn’t lock, some lights were too dim, and several people were bitten by bedbugs. We had to use other rooms to shower because one shower stopped halfway, another had a broken hose, another was clogged, and one had a transparent window. We were utterly disappointed. The villa didn’t match what we expected from the online photos and recent reviews. We’d booked months ahead, so there was time to fix these issues. We would all have left if finding a place for 32 people immediately hadn’t been impossible. One family with the youngest baby did leave on day one.

The surroundings looked acceptable when we arrived for our 3-day, 2-night stay and mostly matched the photos, but the inside quickly made the visit unpleasant. The bathroom was in terrible condition and felt cramped, while the dim bedrooms had an eerie feel. The aircon was so poor that the rooms felt hot and stuffy. The location also wasn’t convenient. A very disappointing stay for my family.

The lobby and dining hall felt like a rural factory canteen. Across all 16 rooms, there were air conditioning problems: units were missing, switched off suddenly, or only ran in fan mode, leaving rooms stuffy. Showers were broken or stopped partway through, water pressure was low, pipes shook and made loud noises when turned on, and the temperature changed suddenly. The beds were a mess too: bedbugs, stained sheets, smelly pillows, sinking spring mattresses, noisy beds, and ants in the beds and sheets. Hygiene was terrible everywhere. Floors and bathrooms were moldy, shelves and wardrobes smelled moldy and were cracked, towels were stained brown, and bathroom mats were slimy and always wet because of leaks. Bathroom floors flooded and drains clogged. Some doors couldn’t be locked, and when they did lock, opening them was difficult because the doors and locks didn’t line up. The buffet breakfast cost about usd10, but the coffee was dry powder for guests to make themselves, and stained, dirty cups had ants crawling around them. It was like staying in a Halloween house.
