Villa Kalimaya An Elite Haven

On my first trip to Bali, I couldn't have picked a better place. The staff were friendly, and Villa Kalimaya and its grounds were kept clean. I'd highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Bali.

I spent four nights at Kalimaya with two friends, and it was probably the best villa I've stayed at on my Bali holidays. It's large, so it's probably best for friends or family, and the late October price we got was excellent. The location is unreal. It's right behind Seminyak Village mall, handy for morning coffee and pastries, and a good spot to book a Grab. Motel Mexicola, La Favela, Ku De Ta, Potato Head, and Chandi are all about a 10-15 minute walk away. There are also plenty of late night supermarkets and beer delivery places. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, with excellent AC. The ground floor room has an outdoor bathroom. The pool is a great size and has sunbeds and an outdoor shower, and there's even a sauna. We hardly heard road noise. There's a good speaker setup in the living room, smart TVs in each room, and a fine kitchen. Muzhar, the supervisor, checked on us daily and brought extras like charging adapters and an iron. The cleaning staff were friendly and flexible about timing. When we had a small issue, Muzhar got a technician over quickly. Great villa, staff, price, and location. I'd definitely recommend it.

Lina and her team made the trip feel like a little paradise. They sorted out everything we asked for, from last-minute hair and spa bookings to tours and tips on local places to eat and visit. The staff were warm, helpful, and professional throughout. We stayed in Kalimaya III, which felt like a spacious home rather than a hotel, and it was beautifully kept. The beach was about five minutes away one way, with shops, restaurants, and nightlife only a couple of minutes in the other direction. I hope I can return someday.

We had a really lovely stay, and it worked well for our family and friends. The chefs made delicious food, and the pool stayed clean, with fresh towels set out on the loungers each morning. The staff were incredibly friendly and the service was fantastic. The rooms were spotless and well looked after, and the villas themselves were beautiful. It’s also close to the shopping centre, with some nice cafes and pubs an easy walk away.
