The location was good, but it was very loud. We couldn’t stay the last night because the power went out twice during a blackout, though that wasn’t the villa’s fault. We had to find somewhere with electricity. When the cleaners come in, they leave all the bedroom doors open. There are no fly screens on the windows or in the bathrooms, so the place gets infested with mozzies. The doors don’t shut properly, yet they seem to think a net around the bed will stop the mozzies from attacking you.

The host Lillie and her team were incredible, and the villa was so comfortable, with stunning architecture. It’s right in the heart of Seminyak but tucked away on a quiet street. What an incredible place. Five stars, we’ll be back!

Jl Kayu Aya, also known as Oberoi Street, is barely a two-minute walk away, yet the villa feels totally private and is so central. The encircling pool is a real treat. Trishna & Liza are pleasant and unobtrusive. Five stars plus, plus for sure, and that’s not “Plus Plus”.
