Villa Suzuki 2 Seminyak

For what it costs, this villa felt like a dream. The staff were easy to reach, helped whenever needed, and cleaned every day. When my son cut his finger in the pool, they brought us a big fruit basket to apologize. That was a kind, thoughtful gesture. The place has lots of practical comforts: a spacious shared area with ceiling fans, a well-stocked kitchen with working appliances, and big comfortable beds with good pillows. The bathrooms were excellent, with plenty of towels, and there were toiletries, tea, coffee, basic seasonings, an iron and board, and lots of insect repellent supplied. There are a couple of drawbacks for me, though they might not bother everyone. Mosquitoes were everywhere despite the staff trying to deal with them and providing repellent, and the kids got badly bitten. It was also noisy in the daytime from construction next door, with motorcycles passing by too. I didn't lower my rating for those things, since you might get used to it.

Even one star feels like too much. The pool and towels weren't clean, and there were bugs inside the rooms. The living room has no door separating it from outside, so insects can get into the villa. Staff also came into the villa without permission, at any time. I left the place for him, but he refused to cancel, so the reservation is still valid. If those issues don't matter to someone, they may call it excellent. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

A reasonably priced villa for a family, with three bedrooms and all the basics covered. It had a smart TV with Netflix, fast Wi-Fi, reliable hot water, clean beds, a washing machine, and a clean pool. Each bedroom also had a bathtub. We had a safe, comfortable family holiday ❤️

The only thing I found special about this place was the top floor. Otherwise it felt unhygienic, with insects and lizards all over, and there was no privacy. The guard might suddenly open the door and walk in. If you're one of us, run!
