Puri Saron Seminyak

Admana, Putri and Rimbawa were lovely to talk with and definitely the highlight of my stay. The staff as a whole did a wonderful job, but I won’t be coming back. Breakfast reviews were right, too, and Puri Saron management can do better. I asked for a different room after getting locked inside the junior suite on my first morning and needing the maintenance guy to rescue me. The ground floor room I moved to was 1000% more comfortable, even though the junior suite had supposedly been an upgrade. I later explained to Mr Asi, Manager at front office, why the old 80s-style room had been such an inconvenience: it was huge, cold and uninviting, with a bare section, no ambiance or creature comforts, and an old-fashioned key lock that seemed below the standard for its grading. I expected some empathy. Instead, I got a lecture and a complimentary meal, which I appreciated, then he led me to the dining area in the afternoon and asked me to choose a meal for that evening. What a condescending way to treat a woman!

The suite was a very nice room, and the staff were polite and helpful. I don’t know the area very well, but the location seemed good to me. Breakfast and the food were okay, while the juices and other drinks were really good.

The bed and floor were spotless, and the staff were lovely, like the Balinese people I’ve met elsewhere. But there were too many other problems with the room, so I left the next morning and found somewhere else to stay.

There’s plenty of room across this beachside resort, with a large pool and party area, a banquet hall, a luxury spa and a multicuisine restaurant. The rooms are well appointed, and it seems a good fit for a relaxed holiday. Beachside nightlife starts right at the resort’s edge.
