There are two pools, one on the top floor and one near the lobby. The lobby pool was being repaired when we arrived. The hotel also has airport drop off at certain hours, which came in handy, and a buggy car to take you to Kedonganan Beach. Breakfast is served in two places, at the top floor restaurant or the Japanese restaurant on the lower floor. There’s also a Dolce machine in the room for coffee. Our suite was huge, maybe around sixty five square meters, with lots of natural light, a very large bed, a bathtub, and a shower. We faced an old unused building, so the view from Building B isn’t much, though you can see the Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue in the distance from the balcony. The wooden floors, sanitary fittings, stone, and some finishes looked a bit aged, but a staff member said major renovations were underway when I stayed, so there should be more significant improvements by the time you read this. The big plus is the location: I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport is only a fifteen minute drive away. If you like babi guling, the famous Karya Rebo is just across the street.

The pool was a big hit for our family, especially the toys for the children and the fact it stays open until 10 PM. We also enjoyed the food and hotel spa. We stayed a long time with our young child and took two rooms. They were spacious, comfortable, and clean, though renovation work made things noisy at times. Staff were friendly and always helpful. There are plenty of local restaurants and shops within walking distance, and we found the location great. We had a lovely stay and would be happy to return to Watermark Hotel. Thank you, Watermark Hotel!

The hotel team made us feel very welcome, with Dewi, Putri, and all the staff being friendly, attentive, and ready to go above and beyond. The facilities were excellent, especially the peaceful rooftop pool with its stunning views. We also enjoyed the food and range of dining options. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable after a long day of exploring. Watermark Hotel & Spa Bali gave us a wonderful stay, balancing modern comfort with warm Balinese hospitality. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bali and would love to come back. I kept coming back to the sauna during my stay. The whole sequence worked so well: a dip in the cold plunge that felt refreshing without being painfully cold, then time to relax. The view of the pool and greenery from the window made it feel especially peaceful. Inside, the Japanese hinoki wood gives off a lovely natural scent as soon as you open the door. It’s calming without needing any artificial aromatherapy. It felt like a place to settle your mind, not just somewhere to sweat.

The rooftop pool has a fantastic view, and the staff were great. There are two restaurants downstairs, and you can order from either one through room service. It’s a handy place to stay near DPS airport and away from the bustle of Kuta, while still an easy drive from the action. The water is about a 15-minute walk away, with bars and restaurants along the shore. Would recommend.
