Pondok Damu has a nice atmosphere and the basics are there, but several things need attention. The water wasn't running properly, making it hard to use the bathroom comfortably, and the towels took a while to arrive. Some worn-looking parts of the roof also need repair. With a little care and maintenance, the place could feel welcoming again and really come back to life.

The place was really bad. The sheets were dirty, and the bathroom was just basic. It cost 50rb, then became 100rb if you wanted to lie down, even though I still had to put something over the pillow and sheets. The room next door was incredibly noisy. I won't come back unless management has changed.

The sheets and pillows seemed like they had never been changed, the toilet was horrible, and the bed smelled of urine. The room stank and the service was terrible. It was disgusting, like sleeping in a septic tank. Better to pay more than choose a cheap place like this.
