That XO fried rice at breakfast was especially good. They clearly put real effort into the morning food, and for the price, the stay feels great.

The fifth-floor restaurant and cafe are pretty good. The hotel also has a clean smell, and what you pay feels fair for what you get.

The salted egg chicken was really tasty and came in a big portion, and the Pesen kopi drinks were good too. The chicken salad was just okay, while the spaghetti was disappointing and didn't feel up to hotel standard. Also, if you're after somewhere quiet, this probably isn't it lol. Young people hang out here and don't seem to mind making a lot of noise.

The building is right on the main road, so finding it was easy. Inside, the bed was comfy, the place was clean, and the service was good. Food here is cheap, too. There's no breakfast, but that was fine with me. I'd stay again next time I'm in Malang ♥️

The restaurant and rooftop seem like spots millennials will enjoy hanging out at. I was glad to find a clean syariah hotel in Malang, and it's open to everyone, not just Muslims.
