Breakfast was magnificent, especially for the very reasonable price. There was plenty to choose from, the food was excellent, and the head chef is a marvel of skill and organization. The rooms were clean and well presented, and the desk staff were helpful and spoke good English. I can't recommend the hotel more highly. One small caveat: I'd avoid booking through their travel partner. I was disappointed with him, and after the Bromo trip I made my own arrangements, which were much better and over 35% cheaper. Live and learn. It doesn't change my hotel rating.

Seeing Mount Bromo when I opened the curtains in the morning was unforgettable. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with soft sheets and a hot shower with nice soap. I slept incredibly deeply, barely moving all night. From arrival to departure, everyone helped make the stay a pleasure. The parking attendant greeted me with a huge smile whenever I came or went. Both receptionists were lovely and accommodating, especially the one from Malaysia, who really saved me. After an exhausting trip from Jember, I realized I'd booked the wrong dates, and she sorted it out kindly and easily. A quiet, easy, joyful stay. I highly recommend The 1O1 Malang OJ 🤩

I had an important event to attend and asked reception if I could check in early. They said they'd try their best, and they did. My room was ready in less than an hour. All the staff were warm and really nice.

The staff were friendly, informative, and helpful throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and very clean, with all the amenities prepared, and we enjoyed the delicious food. A very pleasant experience.

Breakfast had a good range of choices and the food was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable, and the stay was good value for money. Mine had a connecting door, so I could hear some sounds from the next room. It wasn't disruptive, but it's something future guests might want to keep in mind.
