It's close to alun-alun malang, which is the one real plus. The room was fairly clean, but noisy and missing a TV, fan, hot water, and free Wi-Fi. You have to pay for internet access. For the price, other hotels and guest houses offer much better facilities, including a TV, fan or AC, and free Wi-Fi.

Even at a cheap rate, I don't think it was worth the price. Hotels in the same price range offer much better facilities.

An affordable place to stop over before heading to Bromo for the midnight sunrise. Malang Plaza, with food shops and a Matahari store, is nearby. There's no money changer, though.

Some rooms have AC, but not all. It isn't very clean, though I guess that's part of the low price.

A cheap hotel without air conditioning. Fine for backpackers.
