Surya Kencana Seaside Hotel

The view is great, and our room was large, with two big beds and a comfortable bathroom. The facilities are old, though they seem to be maintained. I liked the drinks, but the food was either too bland or had too much flavor. The first and second floors were quite noisy, and the workers could be a little inattentive at times. I'd suggest it if you mainly want to enjoy the scenery. It may not suit someone after a modern, luxurious place, a picky eater, or anyone bothered by unnecessary noise.

We booked the junior suite for four, and there was loads of space. From the balcony we could see Pantai Barat, which was really satisfying. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool was cozy and a nice place to relax. There were lots of ants in the room, so we couldn't leave sweet food on the table. Still, we had a very nice stay. If you're after somewhere private and not crowded, this is a good fit.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly, especially the security team. Only a few people understood English, though. For the price, this is a good beachfront hotel, with decent rooms, a nice pool, hot water in the shower, and okay food. The Wi-Fi wasn't very good, and the kitchen staff could use a bit of improvement. Still, a nice place to stay.

The building is showing its age, but the facilities work well and are properly maintained. It's very close to the west beach, so it's easy to catch the sunset, though we missed it. A very good stay overall.
