Green Forest Resort & Wedding Bandung

The service during the stay was poor, and I hope management takes these problems seriously. We booked three rooms for two nights and had asked for them to be close together, but were put in the building at the very back, far from the main area. Since I was travelling with a baby and the route to those rooms was dark and remote, I asked to change rooms. The receptionist said all rooms of that type were occupied and offered no other solution. Room service left dirty dishes, and housekeeping didn’t remove them when they cleaned. On checkout day, I planned to leave at 10 AM and called the receptionist several times to request a trolley, but nobody answered. I tried the service WhatsApp number, which was also the reservation number, and got no response even after checking out. The reservation process was frustrating too. WhatsApp replies were very slow, and no one picked up when I called the office seven times. Once I finally got a response, booking was unnecessarily complicated and inefficient. Given all this, I don’t think Green Forest Resort deserves its four-star rating. The hospitality was far below what guests should expect from a place marketed at that level.

For New Year’s Eve 2026, a few things to know if you’re coming with older parents: the executive suite is the only option that isn’t far from the lobby, so don’t book a cottage with elderly parents. The hotel itself is very comfortable, surrounded by greenery, with river and jungle sounds and an infinity pool. Housekeeping looked after the room really well. It was clean and smelled fresh. Thanks to Mr. Nandar at the cottage king. The food was okay for me, and bakmi goreng was one of my favourites. Hopefully next year’s New Year’s program will be better. There were no fireworks this year because of the rules, which made us sad since my parents love them and that was why I looked for a hotel with a fireworks program. Also, once someone has won a prize, they shouldn’t be able to join the other games again. Please give someone else a chance. Thanks, Green Forest Resort, for the memories. See you later.

The jacuzzi was clogged and leaking water everywhere, which was especially dangerous for me because I’m pregnant. When I complained around 7 PM, receptionist desta said the Duty Manager had already gone home. Nadia later contacted me claiming to be the Manager on Duty, but handled it poorly. She only apologized and offered no proper solution or even a small complimentary gesture. The rest of the Royal Suite was a total disaster too. The pillows had black stains, the mattress looked unclean, and the floor mat seemed like it hadn’t been washed in weeks. There was dust everywhere and lots of flies in the room, which was disgusting and unacceptable for a suite. Breakfast was another disappointment. The chef kept burning the omelettes until they were tasteless scrambled eggs, with no vegetables or tomatoes. For this hotel category, the food was far below standard. When I got back to the room, the AC had stopped working completely, so I couldn’t rest. I complained again through Instagram and directly to Nadia, but got no response and was completely ignored. If this is how the Royal Suite is, I can’t imagine the standard rooms. Absolutely not recommended, and I won’t be back.

We were told to leave by 11 AM, but check-in wasn't until 3 PM. Even at 3, our room still wasn't ready and the receptionist asked us to wait longer. What are they doing with those four hours between guests? I'd look for a different hotel nearby. This might be fine for a visit, but I wouldn't stay here.
