The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and the location worked really well for us, close to the beach and plenty of restaurants. We’d read mixed reviews, so my boyfriend and I booked one night to judge it ourselves. We couldn’t find another nearby hotel in this price range. Some of the buildings are being renovated or built, and the hotel is still recovering from COVID. It’s a big hotel, so seeing it go through that is sad. Still, we found it a nice place with great staff. I honestly don’t get why some reviews are so harsh. You get what you pay for, and this is a good, legitimate budget stay in a great spot. We liked it enough to book a second night, since it was our last night in Uluwatu. Sending the owners lots of love and support, keep up the good work. We’d definitely recommend it to budget travelers.

I spent the year-end holiday here with my family and we had a great stay. There’s plenty of parking, it’s convenient for Dreamland Beach, and Netflix streamed smoothly without buffering, which was a nice extra. The pool has only just started operating, so it isn’t fully up and running yet. It’d also be nice if the abandoned building nearby were tidied up to make the area look neater. Even so, we found the stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The beach views are lovely, and the location is excellent value for what I paid. The bedding and toilet were good to use, and toiletries were provided. The room could use a little improvement, though, and the AC leaked a bit.

The location is good, about a 10-minute walk to Dreamland beach, and the view is beautiful. We had a good experience overall. The room felt a bit old and could have been cleaned better, but the AC worked really well.

Krisna at reception made the stay especially memorable. He was kind and helpful, and his recommendations for places to visit in Bali helped me plan the perfect moment to propose to my fiancée. Today, as I write this, it’s my wedding day. I’m grateful to all the staff at New Kuta Hotel by Lorin, especially Krisna for his warmth and professionalism. I hope he’s still there when I return so I can thank him in person. I stayed about a month ago. The hotel felt comfortable and had a nice atmosphere, good facilities, and a setting that showed off the ocean’s beauty. I thought the cleanliness could be a little better, and the pool was still being renovated during my visit, so I couldn’t use it.
