I mostly tried the restaurant, where the food and prices were both good. Tables are set in saung over fish ponds, which adds to the atmosphere, though the ponds were quite dirty. The restaurant toilets were clean, and there’s good parking. The place is near Garut and feels like an Indonesian village, with small rice fields, fish ponds, bamboo buildings, and traditional Indonesian architecture that doesn’t try to mix in modern styles. The hotel itself is good.

We stayed here at the end of 2014. The bungalow was roomy, with a large window and a nice terrace looking out at trees, rice fields, and fish ponds. Crickets at night and water running in the creek made it feel like a remote village. I appreciated that the hotel was built with care for the green surroundings, even while making a profit. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel’s dinner and breakfast were below par, even though it may be the only hotel nearby serving both. I found it odd since the property is also a restaurant, though I don’t know if the restaurant food is the same quality. Wi-Fi didn’t reach our room, so I couldn’t get online there.

The resort’s concept is nice, like staying among rice fields or in a forest. Each room has a private balcony, a nice place to spend time with family or friends. But the room facilities still need a lot of work. When I visited, there was no wireless internet or hair dryer, and the TV was an old style set rather than a flat screen.

Nice, clean place with nature and fresh air. The room was good and clean, but there wasn’t any tissue in it. Please check the room before it’s used.
