The staff are friendly, and the location is quiet while still very close to Simpang Lima. I especially liked the rooftop bar, with its relaxed vibe and great city views at night. Horison Inn Alaska is a hidden gem in Semarang for budget-conscious travelers, with rooms that are surprisingly modern and clean for the price. A comfortable, simple choice for a city stay.

The room was comfortable and met my expectations, but the bathroom could be cleaner. There was some rust on the shower, the jet spray smelled unpleasant, and water pooled in the shower area because the drainage wasn’t good.

The room is spacious and the location is strategic, with eateries nearby, some within walking distance. It’s an old hotel, though, and the bathroom looks dull. The towels, bedcover, and sheets really need an upgrade. Parking is limited, and they direct guests to park at a school across the street. Breakfast is okay, but there aren’t many choices and it could be better.

We had a great stay in a lovely suite for 3 nights. The bed was super comfy, and having a bath in the room was a great touch. Breakfast was buffet style. The staff were very friendly and spoke English, and the manager went out of his way to give us any advice we needed. The whole experience was great, and it’s well worth staying in this good city.

This is a 3 hotel by Horison. The room was clean, the service was good, and the simple breakfast was delicious. The parking lot is very limited, so they should give guests clear information about it. The hotel is right at a traffic-light crossroads, and security needs more training to help cars cross the street safely. Recommended. Thanks.
