Lasanti Villas & Spa Seminyak

The villa was spotless, the staff were wonderful, and breakfast had plenty of flavour. We did have a problem with the AC, but they repaired it and checked back in to see if it was working for us. Thanks for making our stay so pleasant and putting in the extra effort. We also tried the in-room massage on our last day and wished we’d booked it earlier, it was amazing and better than the massages on the street. LASANTI villas, keep it up.

The oily water put me off taking a bath, and even after showering I didn't feel quite clean. I’ve had the same experience at some other places around Seminyak, so it may be common there. Breakfast offered lots of options, though the taste wasn’t quite to my Indonesian palate, just a matter of preference. The rest of the setup was comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom were roomy, the AC was cold, and the plunge pool had a lounge chair. There’s a microwave for reheating food, but inside the room there was only a small dining table and chair, with the other small table and chairs by the pool. I liked the bathroom’s little door to an outdoor garden, a thoughtful way to air out smells without letting them into the bedroom. One night we got back from a party around midnight and found a huge black spider in the bedroom corner. The front office sent someone straight away to deal with it, which I appreciated. The hotel is central in Seminyak, handy for food and getting around by motorbike. I might stay here again on my next Bali visit.

The villa is nicely kept, with a great amount of space, and the in-room massages were wonderful. It’s just far enough from the bustle while keeping everything close by. After a traumatic experience with the person I’d come with, I ran from my villa to get emergency help. Nana and the manager were especially kind and attentive, giving me somewhere safe and treating me with compassion. They made sure I was unharmed and kept me safe until I left. Even after I departed, they checked in to make sure I was okay. I left feeling refreshed despite what had happened, and the team greeted me warmly throughout. I can’t wait to see everyone next year. We had a wonderful four days here as a family. The pool was spotless, the setting was peaceful, and our spacious room was very clean and tidied every day. A big thank you to Ayu, Trina, and the cleaning team for being so kind and professional. Everything made for a lovely stay.
