Once I was inside, it was fine, and the area around the place felt comfortable. I could buy cheap breakfast and snacks, and we were able to cook and relax before continuing our journey. It’s far from Malioboro. I came here after searching everywhere for somewhere to stay and finding it all full. The lack of lighting made the place feel scary when I first arrived, though all the rooms were occupied by then, which made it less scary. There was no guard, so we let ourselves in with the key left as the owner had instructed.

I paid through Agoda, but when I arrived, the place looked awful and like an empty house. There was no receptionist. I’m not going back.

The guards were friendly, and the atmosphere was calm and cool. The only issue was that the mine floor wasn’t clean.

The room was okay for the price, but the cleanliness was lacking and the place felt old, scary, and poorly located. There were too many mirrors. My friend and I also felt unsafe: the outer door, which is the main door, wouldn’t close properly, and the place is far from residential areas. Please fix this, especially the security. The facilities need improvement too. Still, I’m grateful to the employees who served me and listened to my feedback. Good luck to them, and I hope they keep being that helpful. The management really needs to do better by its employees. 🙏🏻
