The Grand Kitchen breakfast was great, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived for our 4D3N stay. Everyone was attentive and greeted guests. Ms Ika was cheerful every time we saw her and remembered our coffee order each morning. Try the crepes at the station too. Rain, who makes them, takes pride in her baking and is always smiling. They were fresh and tasty. The restaurant team deserves a thumbs-up. Definitely a good hotel choice in Surabaya.

The hotel is in the Darmo area, close to Surabaya’s main business and shopping spots. The lobby was spacious and nicely decorated, and the hallway on the 10th floor looked good too. My bedroom and bathroom were both spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had plenty of choices and the dining area was big enough, but the food tasted mediocre and nothing really suited me. The gym was also disappointing, with very limited equipment and space for such a big hotel. Even so, I enjoyed the stay.

I stayed for five days and the hospitality was truly exceptional. Mas Rizaldy was always quick and very helpful with housekeeping. Mas Galih went above and beyond, taking the initiative to find a taxi and even coming outside the hotel to help. I’ll definitely come back. Keep up the great work!

The breakfast and room service food were amazing, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We even got upgraded from a regular room to a suite for free! After breakfast, Fitria looked after us. She’s a lovely lady. We’re looking forward to staying here again, and I’d recommend it to friends and family.

After returning from Malang, hotel manager Benny looked after my partner and me so well. The staff are clearly well trained and seem to enjoy their work. Grand Swiss Hotel Darmo was spotless, comfortable, and well worth the price. It’s a central Surabaya location that still feels peaceful and relaxing, with a bit of luxury too. One of the best hotel stays I’ve had in a long time. I’d come back in a heartbeat and recommend it for a great stay. Thanks to everyone at Grand Swiss Hotel Darmo Surabaya.
