The room is nice, with a bathroom and shower. It’s comfortable for an overnight stay or boarding, and seems fair for the price.

Getting into the guesthouse took some effort. When I arrived on September 5, 2022, it was very quiet, and nobody came even after I called several times. Eventually I met Ms. Ovi, a friendly, beautiful, polite, and kind UMRAH student, who helped me contact the owner. After a 10-minute phone call, I learned the owner was working late and had passed the room reservation to his daughter, Sherly. She lives two houses to the right, at number C5. I could see a car on the porch, so it looked like someone was home. Sherly gave me the key to room A1 and the outside door, and then I could get in. Payment was cash only. The rate was 120,000 Rupiah per night, but Sherly's father kindly offered me two nights for 220,000 Rupiah. The room was fine: a soft bed, air conditioning, working electricity and water, a clean bathroom, soap, shampoo, towels, and working appliances. The lights were a bit dim, and I found the door very hard to lock, though maybe I just didn’t understand that kind of lock. Bring a three-prong plug, since all the outlets are three-prong. It was very comfortable staying here. I almost decided to rent the place because I’d get to see Ms. Ovi every day. Wow, that would give me motivation to work. Dear Ms. Ovi, I’m only here for two days. Please keep being friendly to everyone. I hope your Umrah pilgrimage goes well and that you find the right partner. Hehe. I’d love to meet you someday. The place is tucked away in an alley, so it’s a little hard to find. I was mainly after somewhere cheap where I could sleep, but the payment became a problem. The owner said they hadn’t received a transfer from Agoda/Oyo, so I had to pay again: 60 thousand rupiah through Agoda, then another 130 thousand rupiah on the spot. I don’t know whose fault it was 😅. Be careful when booking. You might expect a discount and end up paying more, even three times as much. The basic room had very thin towels. That’s all.
