The price just isn't worth it. The bedcover seemed like it hadn't been changed, the old AC couldn't cool the whole room, and it was too hot. The toilet was a mess. That was a bad hotel experience, and my first and last time staying there.

The service wasn't great. We were staying as a couple and asked for two room access cards, but they refused. The concierge also seemed perplexed when I asked them to arrange an airport transfer. The place may once have been a nice mid-range hotel and one of Berau's biggest, but now it feels left to rot. We stayed because it was close to the river after our flight was cancelled. It needs refurbishment and better service. I can't recommend it. Clean replacement sheets were still stained. The bathroom and unplugged fridge were full of mold, the internet barely worked, the AC wasn't cold and had dirty filters, and the room lights were broken. People were smoking in the public areas on every floor.

I stayed because my flight had been cancelled. It may once have been one of the biggest hotels in Berau, but now it feels eerie, old, and dusty.

A fairly average middle-class hotel. It’s over ten years old, and that’s starting to show. They have both Western and Asian food.
