The photos and price made me expect one of Ubud’s nicer, higher-end places, but my stay didn’t meet that expectation. I’ve traveled around Indonesia and Bali for a while and stayed in hotels, resorts, and villas at different prices, so I expected more. The rooms felt outdated and dirty. The curtains, linens, and bathtub all looked as if they’d been brought in 20 years ago and never replaced. The landscaping was poor, and the pool area didn’t feel welcoming. It’s also far from town. I’m surprised this place has such good reviews.

The room and bathroom were both wonderful, and the rice field view made the stay feel special. My husband and I had a great time here, with scrumptious breakfasts and service that impressed us throughout. The staff were warm, professional, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Their activity suggestions and help finding reliable drivers made getting around Ubud easy. It took me months to get around to writing this, but I’d gladly stay here again on our next visit.

The villa looked out over rice fields, with animals around, and the setting felt magical. We stayed for three days and found the staff very kind. Heri especially helped us with all our requests. Recommended!

The villas were beautiful, spacious, and luxurious, and the staff cleaned them to a spotless standard every day. We had villas 2 and 3, both excellent, though a little different: 2 had a kitchenette, while 3 had a bigger bathroom. The location wasn’t amazing, but we enjoyed walking through nearby rice fields and found plenty of nice cafes and restaurants close by. The free shuttle to central Ubud was useful. The hot water in villa 3 didn’t work properly, though I’m sure the attentive staff will fix it promptly. We had a fantastic stay.

The floor-to-ceiling glass let us see the rice paddies while still feeling private. The room was spacious and had a kitchenette, and the outdoor bath and shower were amazing. Staff were helpful and cleaned every day. The pool area was great too. Also, the lobby had the most adorable little puppies every day.
