ALBA Dive Tulamben

The sea-view rooms were a dream, and I liked the food so much I’d return for it alone. I just finished four great days of diving and am already thinking about coming back. These were my first macro dives, and on every dive our guide managed to spot four or more nudis and shrimps. The crew felt like friends. 10/10!

I tried nearly everything on the menu during my five-day stay, and it was all delicious. The staff were friendly, the dive center crew were great, and the dogs and cats were adorable. Comfortable villas, clean pools, and an amazing sunrise view too. Villa Alba deserves six stars if that were an option. I'd recommend it to my friends and anyone visiting Tulamben.

The room was clean, and the location worked well, close to dive centers and within walking distance of a few marts. On a clear sunny day there's a nice view of mount agong behind the place. My shower was a problem, though: there wasn't enough water pressure or hot water, so I had to shower in another room. Service felt average, and the dive center and hotel didn't seem well coordinated. I also missed the breakfast that was supposed to be included.

The open dining area overlooking the pool and ocean is a great spot, and the meals were first class. Alex and Jessica are proactive about the facilities, and the resort is set up really well for diving. The location is fantastic. I've recommended it to lots of people and will keep doing so. Can't wait to return.
