Adiwana Resort Jembawan

My husband/wife and I follow a vegan lifestyle, and this place was absolutely wonderful for us. There were lots of delicious breakfast choices, and every facility met our expectations. The staff were so hospitable that we could hardly believe this was only a 4-star hotel. It was an amazing stay, and we’ll definitely visit again.

It was a brilliant stay, with polite, helpful staff and tours that felt organized and easy. The room had everything we needed and was cleaned twice a day, which was a nice bonus. Breakfast each day was great, and we enjoyed the little afternoon tea too. We didn’t join any activities, but it was nice to have the daily activities and movie night as options. I’d recommend the resort. A shout-out to our driver and tour guide, all the reception staff, and the lovely new staff member who helped us when we arrived.

We enjoyed our six nights at Adiwana Jembawan, and the location is ideal. You’re only steps from the busy main road, but once inside it feels like another world. Our premium room was fine, though its position near the public bridge at one end of the property meant it didn’t feel very private. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The main problem was the airport transfers. The car included in our package arrived late because of traffic, which is always bad, so why not allow enough time? On the way back, we paid 550,000 to the hotel and were told to leave at least four hours before our flight. We were waiting at reception 15 minutes before pickup, but ten minutes after the agreed time there was still no car or driver. Reception said the driver was preparing the car. If he knows there’s an 8am pickup, surely the car should be ready beforehand. Next time I’d book a transfer privately. It would save quite a bit, and they could hardly be less punctual.

The quiet side street location worked really well, with restaurants, cafes, and yoga studios in Ubud all within walking distance. My room was beautiful, with a peaceful balcony looking out over the jungle, and I loved the restaurant food, especially breakfast. The spa treatments at Tejas Spa were among the best I’ve ever had. I went back three times! The resort is beautiful and the service truly feels five-star. I was welcomed from the moment I arrived, and Fachrizal made the airport transfer smooth. Everyone was kind and attentive, and I left feeling relaxed and recharged. I didn’t want to leave. Thanks, Adiwana, for a wonderful stay. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.
