Alam Pangkung Ubud

Such a lovely, super clean room, the best one I've stayed in in Ubud. Thanks so much for hosting me. I'd love to stay here again next time I'm in Ubud.

It’s easy to walk from here to palaces, rice fields, the art market, and other places. I came to Ubud for yoga, and several of the best-known studios, including alchemy, radiantly alive, intuitive flow, and ubud yoga house, are about a 10-15 minute walk away. Even with lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby, the room is quiet. The owners respond to requests, and the price is unbeatable. I had a really nice stay, thank you!

If all you need is a clean room and bed in the middle of Ubud center, this could suit you. There aren’t other amenities to expect. The room faces a fantastic jungle view, and the owner kindly gave us hot water in a flask and coffee in the morning. The shower had piping hot water, and the room was cleaned well each day, though the sheets and towels weren't changed, just the bed made. There’s no parking, so you have to leave the car on the road. The entrance comes straight in from the street into the house. It feels more like an Airbnb converted into a hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good this place was. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautiful, with AC, a comfortable bed, and hot water in the shower. Breakfast had great healthy choices, the Wi-Fi was awesome, and from the balcony room you get a forest view with birds chirping. It quiets the buzz of city life a bit. One nice extra: the shop on the right in the alley leading to reception gives guests special discounts on clothes, with much better prices than the marketplace. Give it a try. Highly recommended.
