They first put me in a room with a broken door hinge, so anyone could open it from outside. Staff tried to assure me their CCTV meant nobody would come in and steal anything, which doesn't make the broken door okay. The room smelled awful from poor ventilation and had lizards everywhere. It felt like a horror movie. They eventually moved me to a room with a working door, but the place still felt scary. The toilet door wouldn't close all the way, and they did nothing to fix it. The whole stay was a nightmare, and I wouldn't go back. In reply to the response: having CCTV doesn't make it acceptable to leave a door broken and accessible to anyone. Ridiculous.

We came back from a day trip to find the room still locked, but in a complete mess. My camera and some cash were gone. I believe someone with a spare key must have entered, though I don't know who it was. The hotel said there was only one key for the room, denied having CCTV, and wouldn't help. Instead of assisting, the husband blamed us and threatened to file a police complaint against us. We decided to let it go rather than get further involved and ruin our trip, but think carefully before staying here. The place is cheap, but it felt like bait to draw in customers and rob them. I'd pay more and book elsewhere.

Fine if all you need is a cheap place to sleep. The room was small but clean, and the air conditioning was strong. There was no hot water, and I wouldn't want to spend the day hanging around there.

The location is nice, right by Ubud's art market, with plenty of shops and cafes nearby. But the room we were given was really dark, with very low lighting, including in the bathroom. The washbasin tap didn't work, and the internet was unreliable. I saw that they have better rooms, but I didn't like the one we got.

Don't stay here, it's bad for your health. In Aurora house room 10, the bathroom was covered in mold, the sink and toilet were broken, and the bed was dirty. I got a skin rash, and mold particles came from the AC and made me cough. There's no proper reception desk or window. The toilet and bathroom smelled strongly of biogas and garbage dumps. Hot water lasted only a minute or two. This place could damage your health. Stay away.
