Bale Bali House

The host was so friendly and made us feel at home. It’s a clean, comfortable room and really good value for money. This homestay is in a perfect spot in Ubud, close to the city’s best areas. I’d recommend it 100%.

Koming was a huge part of what made our stay so good. He was friendly and helpful, and since we arrived late, he left our room open with the key so we could get in and rest straight away. He didn’t mind us settling the payment the next morning, and left his phone number in a message in case anything came up. The room was big enough to rest comfortably, though it had no appliances, which was fine since we were out touring all day. The location was great for a quiet stay within walking distance of the main streets, about 15 minutes on foot to Ubud palace. There are lots of shops for souvenirs and meals nearby. We also rented our scooter from him at a very good price. We loved everything about Ubud, and Koming made the experience even better. 100% recommended.

Being close to Ubud Center made it easy to walk to most attractions, and the free daily breakfast was a nice bonus. We really liked the food, the Balinese coffee, and being able to refill our water. Mr. Koming and his family were kind and easy to approach, and they can arrange day tours too. Our room at Bale Bali was spacious and clean, with hot and cold water in the shower. Just remember this is a simple bed and breakfast, so there are no slippers or toothbrushes. A good budget option for longer stays in Bali.

After long days exploring Ubud and Bali, Bale Bali House was exactly the comfortable place I needed to come back to. Koming was such a friendly host, and the room felt both rustic and luxurious. It was spotless and central, with a very comfortable queen bed, ensuite shower and toilet, towels, cups, water, coffee and tea. There was also internet, TV, Chromecast and air conditioning, plus big windows looking onto a private courtyard. I’d happily stay again.
