I cancelled this booking ages ago, but twice in the last six months they’ve messaged me on WhatsApp asking me to pay through a private link. Be careful, this place is run by a scammer.

After I refused to pay nearly four times the nightly rate I’d already paid, they wouldn’t honor my booking and made me leave. Agoda had shown a price that I didn’t know was wrong when I booked months ahead. I spent time going back and forth with the property and Agoda, and by then it was after 10pm. They didn’t seem to care that I had to find somewhere to sleep that night, and somewhere else for the rest of my stay in Ubud.

The villa is badly managed, as other reviews say. They ask you to cancel or pay more, and offer no refund or compensation.
