I really enjoyed relaxing here, looking out from the living room at coconut trees and rice fields. It’s quiet, even though the center of Ubud is close, and the location is perfect, about a 10-minute walk. The simple breakfast they serve is tasty, and the room price is fairly cheap, so it’s a good way to save some of your travel budget. I’d definitely come back. Thanks, dee ☺️🙏

The owner is kind and helpful, and I’d like to stay at this hostel again. It’s quiet and relaxing at night, so a good choice if you want a proper rest. You’re near the business district in central UBUD, and cafés or warungs are only about a five-minute walk away. You can get around on foot or by scooter. 😘🤗🤗

For the price, it was fine. The location is nice and the staff were awesome, and it really does feel like living in the jungle. When I visited, getting to the entrance meant negotiating a series of frankly lethal planks and paths. They said those were temporary, though, so don’t take that as gospel.

There was nobody to check us in, and no answer when we called the contact number. Another guest was in the same situation, so we ended up “breaking in” together by reaching through the locked gate to open it. The photos were misleading. In one dorm there was a huge hole above the door with no screen. We got the hell out of there. Definitely not worth $4 a night.

The room was tiny and looked decrepit, with stained mattresses and no sheets. The AC didn’t work and smelled vile, and there was garbage lying around. The photos were misleading, and a dog attacked me on the way in. We waited quite a while because nobody was at reception, and security seemed lacking since we could reach around and open the gate. I’ve stayed at lots of hostels, but this one made me sad.
