Danasari Homestay

The staff were the best part of my stay. They were so kind and flexible, even when I had to book at 10pm after a problem with another place. It’s also easy to walk to many of Ubud’s main sights, while the spot itself stays fairly quiet. I’d go for an upstairs room: you get a little patio overlooking the rice field, where they bring a tasty breakfast each morning. The aircon and fan worked well, and the shower had great pressure, which can be hard to find in Bali.

A quiet, simple homestay away from the busy city. The farm view wasn't much, but it matched what I paid for. My room was surprisingly clean and there weren't any bugs. No TV, though it had the other modern basics, and it was easy to find. The staff were helpful.

You can walk all over Ubud from here, since it’s right in the center. The beds were really comfy, and the rooms were roomy and very clean. It’s a basic place, but the rice view is lovely and the staff are friendly. Breakfast was the one letdown for us, with only pancakes and fruit to choose from. Still, I’d absolutely recommend staying here.

Watching the ducks in the neighboring rice fields was a lovely part of the stay. They wander around, eat and play, and their sounds are genuinely soothing. The upper floor balcony has a great view of them, and breakfast is brought there every day. The rooms also have a kitchen and bathroom, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.
