Aian, the manager, was especially kind, attentive, and always ready to help. You can tell the staff truly care about looking after guests and providing good service. My stay at Gusde Villa in Bali was very pleasant. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The service exceeded my expectations, and I’d gladly return. I highly recommend the place.

The room felt unsafe, was dirty and very hot, and the door wouldn’t close or lock while I was trying to sleep. The food made me sick, and the address on Google Maps was wrong. The photos don’t match the villas at all, so they should update them. It was cheap, but you can find somewhere better locally for the same money.

It’s beautiful, quaint, and comfortable, with that old-school Bali feel, though it isn’t new. You’re surrounded by modern conveniences like espresso, pizza, a convenience store, and Pilates, but this is still the middle of a jungle. Expect mosquitoes, the occasional lizard, and some water damage. I’ll be back.

I really enjoyed staying here. The place was clean and felt safe for a solo traveller, and you can walk into town since it isn’t far away. The in-house massage was one of the best I’ve had in Bali. The food was fresh and good quality.

The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, especially in the evenings, and the rooms and washrooms were very good. Service was excellent too. Breakfast could use some improvement, though dinner was fine.
