I'm in room no. 1 and am happy with it. It's spacious and very clean, and the staff are nice. The maintenance team works hard, and you can see them cleaning around the property all the time. Breakfast is simple, with toast and eggs or pancakes, plus coffee or tea.

We booked the family room, but what we got looked nothing like the photos. It was much older and had a bunk bed instead of two single beds. There was air conditioning only upstairs, and the bathroom and the rest of the room were really old. When we pointed out the difference, they told us we'd booked the old room, and that there were two types of family rooms. But Booking only shows one family room option, and the photos for it don't match the room we received. It was really strange. You shouldn't have to pay full price for a room you didn't book.

The hostel is in a good area and generally nice. It wasn't one big 28-bed dorm, but several rooms with six-bed dorms. I wasn't given much information in advance when I booked a trip. The pool area also had a disgusting smell that came every minute or so and lasted about three seconds. Even that was enough to put me off swimming or sitting there for long. It didn't feel very social to me, though I did see some people partying together in the evening, so that may just have been my experience.

The quiet setting worked perfectly for me, even though the busy streets of Ubud are just a minute away. I stayed in the large dorm, but it was split into sections of four, so it felt much more manageable. The fans were pretty noisy, but with the AC the rooms stayed at a good temperature. Breakfast was provided, and the hostel restaurant had good food. The pool was lovely and relaxing.

The location in Ubud is great, and the hostel is pretty, especially the pool area. In general, I had a good stay. The rooms were nice, but sharing one private bathroom with eight other people in the room was a bit uncomfortable. The worst part was that the rooms had no keys or locks at all. Breakfast was included in the price, which was nice, though I didn't think it was very good. They also do laundry, but our clothes came back a little damp. I guess that's Bali's weather. 🤷🏼♀️
