MALINI Homestay

I kept extending our stay, and we ended up there for two weeks. The room was comfortable and clean, and the people were kind and helped whenever I needed it while still giving us privacy. Breakfast was very good, especially the omelette.

Their kindness made things easier when I was feeling very tired. I stayed more than four days with this lovely family, who serve delicious breakfast with a genuine smile. I appreciated that they kept their customs and traditions, though most of them don't speak English. The owner's daughter speaks it fluently and patiently answered my questions about Balinese culture and traditions. I'd recommend staying with them.

The room was crude and very dirty, with ants everywhere. The bathroom had only a curtain, no door, and there was water seepage in the wall. The cord was broken, which felt dangerous. WhatsApp never answered me.

Malini and her mother were especially kind, and the staff were friendly. They served me delicious breakfast, including Balinese snacks. The room was clean, with a large, soft and comfortable mattress for two. It's conveniently located near Ubud center for shopping and getting around. The facilities include hot and cold water in the bathroom, and parking is available at an affordable price. I'll choose Malini Homestay again next time I'm in Ubud.
