I was stuck in Ubud with no idea where to go, so I randomly picked a place on Google Maps. They responded quickly, and the area was quiet with a very good price. The owner was nice and humble, too.

After I booked, they got in touch to say the place wasn't available. I asked them to cancel and refund me, but they ignored me. When I followed up, they said Booking.com had the money, which is a lie, especially since the booking was confirmed and they never cancelled it as I requested. They got paid and took money from my account. Avoid this place unless you call them directly to check availability.

There are lots of cats around, and the owner is so friendly and nice. Check-in took a while, and the Wi-Fi sometimes didn't work, but I still want to stay again. The room was spacious, had a wardrobe, and the bed mat was good quality.

Wayan and his family made this the most beautiful, relaxing stay. Their home is gorgeous, peaceful and quiet, with a comfortable canopy bed, a nice bathroom and an outdoor shower. His wife cooked delicious pancakes and vegetarian food, and they offered me fresh tea and fruit. His sister in law came to give me a massage in my room, and she was phenomenal. Wayan picked me up at the airport and generously offered to take me all over town. He genuinely loves meeting people from around the world and sharing his home and country. I'd give them 100 stars if I could. Thank you, Wayan and family!

My friend booked this place through agoda, but when he arrived to check in, the owner said there was no room available. It feels like a scam. Don’t book here.
