Nuriani Guest House

I’m glad I found this place for a longer stay. The rooms are spacious, I think they’re all doubles, and some have balconies. Breakfast is free, delicious, and different every day. The staff are helpful and friendly, and they rent bikes. There’s a road nearby, but I can’t hear it from my room. Rooms are 200k here.

The family who owns nuriani are an absolute joy, and my room was big, clean, and had its own balcony. It puts many hostels I’ve stayed in to shame. The location is central, and the front desk gentleman can arrange all sorts of day trips and adventures at a good price. He saved us some money on the mount batur sunrise trek, which was really nice. A few things kept this from being five stars: the traffic noise is really loud, so bring earplugs, the wifi was really bad, and the private bathroom felt a bit low quality, though it wasn’t dirty. I’d recommend it if you want a reasonably priced place in ubud.

Ms. Karni was the highlight of our stay. She was so helpful to me and my partner, and happily shared interesting things about local customs and traditions. She also arranged shuttle and boat transport to and from Nusa Lembongan with a reputable company. It was safe, and the price was very reasonable. Our room looked out over the rice fields and was very quiet. We enjoyed our time here enough to return for a few more days after the beach. We’d stay again if we came back to Ubud.

The welcome at Nuriani Guest House was so warm and lovely. My room was perfectly clean, with air conditioning and hot water. A really nice experience. I’ll come back 😄🙏🏻🌸
